The thick leather and the quality hardware used on this collar and bridle make it pretty heavy duty.
If using it with the wither strap, and the tug straps going to the saddles D rings, it would better fit a horse 15 hh or bigger. If you use just the tug straps to go up to the pommel it would better fit a horse under 14.2 hh.
The breastcollar wings are each 21 1/2" long, the center strap is adjustable 20 - 22" (including trigger snap), the wither strap is adjustable 12 - 16" , and the tug straps are
adjustable 10 - 15" (add 4 3/4" with trigger snaps).
If you like using just the tugs without the trigger snaps let me know and I will give you a code for $10 and remove those before shipping (excluding the center strap snap).
This collar comes with a matching bridle which should fit an average size horse.
